Xmas Stocking - Mini Tree Decoration

Intermediate Knitting
Suitable for the intermediate knitter, this mini Christmas stocking is small enough to hang in a tree and large enough to contain a small gift.  Our sample has been decorated with star sequins after knitting has been completed, although this is optional.

Materials
Adorn Silky Merino DK 132 Letterbox (Main Colour) - 1 ball
Adorn Silky Merino DK 125 Snow (Contrast Colour) - 1 ball
4mm double pointed needles (set of 5 needles),
2 small stitch holders,
blunt sewing up needle.

Optional only: sequins, fine sequin needle and thread to decorate.

Measurements
Stocking Circumference: 15 cm
Stocking Length (from top to heel): 10 cm
Foot Length (from heel to toe): 8 cm 

Tension
Stocking Stitch – 22 stitches and 30 rows to 10cm using 4mm needles.
