Cabled Box Beanie

Easy Knitting
This easy beanie is worked in the round with a short circular needle.  The cabled band does not require a cable needle.  The top seam is worked with the 3 needle cast off method.

Measurements
Fits head circumference 55 - 59cm
Rib band circumference - 40cm
Top of beanie circumference - 50cm 

Note - Beanie can be made smaller by reducing the number of stitches by a multiple of 4 and working less rows of rib and stocking stitch. 

Materials

• 2 balls Adorn Silky Merino DK.
• circular 4mm 40cm needles
• pair of 4mm needles
• stitch marker
• wool needle to sew in ends. 

Tension
Stocking Stitch – 22 stitches and 30 rows to 10cm using 4mm needles (or needles to give correct tension) and Adorn Silky Merino DK.
